BetMakers has entered into a new five-year agreement with the Royal Sabah Turf Club, aimed at revolutionizing the betting and racing experience at the Tambalang Race Course in Malaysia. The deal will see BetMakers provide a cutting-edge tote betting system and content management services to both the racecourse and its off-course betting network.
Under this agreement, BetMakers will utilize its Global Tote and Global Racing Network systems to upgrade Royal Sabah’s current betting infrastructure. The highlight of the partnership is the implementation of the Quantum Tote solution, a state-of-the-art, software-as-a-service system that will allow Royal Sabah to distribute its races globally to any licensed operator or racetrack.
As part of the deal, BetMakers will hold the global distribution rights for Royal Sabah races, catering to both tote and fixed-odds markets. This will significantly expand Royal Sabah’s reach, enabling it to tap into international markets while providing new opportunities for revenue growth.
Lance Ku, Director of Sales and Business Development Asia for BetMakers’ Global Tote division, expressed excitement over the partnership, stating that the new system will enhance the customer experience at Royal Sabah. Chairman Datuk Peter Chin also highlighted the benefits of this collaboration, emphasizing that BetMakers’ comprehensive betting technologies and content distribution services will enable the Royal Sabah Turf Club to explore new markets and revenue streams efficiently.
